The Bible tells us that near the end of the 7 year Tribulation, just before the Lord Jesus Christ returns, in power and glory at Armageddon, the Euphrates River will be stopped to allow the 'Kings of the East,' which will undoubtedly be led by China, to cross as they travel to Israel for the final Battle of Armageddon: 'Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.    Rev 16:12

China has just signed a $400 billion dollar investment in Iran and will soon station 5000 troops to watch over their projects of roads, pipelines and oil facilities in order to more easily bring Iran's oil to China; China is starved for oil. 

As we rode the train from Hong Kong to the Lou Wu border crossing into China, we would see massive pipelines carrying oil from Hong Kong ports up into China.

The website, 'Debkafile' (https://www.debka.com/china-to-post-5000-troops-in-iran-to-protect-massive-investment-iranians-protest-were-not-for-sale/ ) reports, 'Gulf and the Western intelligence sources report that this substantial Chinese military presence in Iran, the first in the Gulf region, will mark out the formation of a strategic axis linking China, Iran and Pakistan, two of which are nuclear powers. It will add another section to the the CPEC [China-Pakistan Economic Corridor] project underway in Pakistan, as part of Beijing’s $8 trillion Border and Road Initiative (BRI) projects for spanning Asia and Europe. The CPEC is to provide a safe passage and a shorter route for Iranian oil, gas and petrochemicals, sold at cut-rate prices, to reach China.  The 5,000 Chinese troops to be posted in Iran, DEBKAfile sources reveal, will join the rarely noticed presence of 10,000 Chinese military personnel in the east African port of Djibouti,, so topping up Beijing’s military strength athwart more than one sensitive corner of the Middle East to 15,000 troops.  The locations of the new Chinese bases in Iran are still under discussion. One is likely to be a seaport – either on Iran’s Gulf coast or at Chabahar, an outlet to the Gulf of Oman where the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) navy maintains a large installation. This location would strengthen the Iran-China-Pakistan connection. Also under discussion is a site close to Iran’s key nuclear facilities, which would seriously complicate any Israeli plan for an air strike against its nuclear program.  The new pact is a game changer in more than one respect. It draws some of the sting from the US sanctions imposed on both partners, by partially covering Iran’s losses from the US embargo on oil sales. The deal gives the IRGC access to sophisticated military hardware and points the oil-rich Gulf nations to an alternative source for cutting-edge weaponry after the Biden administration paused large-scale arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.' 

Notice the reference to the Chinese 'Border and Road Initiative’ - China is building roads, 'freeways’, highways large enough to accommodate their largest military transport vehicles, and they are building themselves access to and through the Middle East.  Their plan is to travel down through Pakistan, into and through Iran, through Iraq, crossing the Euphrates River, through Jordan or Syria and into Israel.

Armageddon, when China will take their military all the way to the Valley of Megiddo in Israel for the final showdown between the Antichrist and the returning King, Jesus Christ, is at least 7 years away, even if the Rapture were to occur today which, of course, it could... but that coming 7 years, even if it begins today, will be far more than enough time to complete their access to and through Iran, on their way to the coming Battle.

Russia already has a huge military presence in the Middle East as they prepare for the Battle of Ezekiel 38 which will likely occur just before or right at the beginning of the Tribulation.

The World is being set up for three major events which will likely be 'kicked off' by the chaos caused by the soon coming Rapture: the appearance of Antichrist, the Battle of Ezekiel 38 and, finally, the return of the Lord Jesus Christ at the Battle of Armageddon.

The World is being rapidly set up and sadly, most of the Church is as blind and oblivious as most of the World.

God has given us, in Scripture, so many 'signs of the times.'  Jesus wept over Jerusalem for not recognizing the signs of His coming and He castigated the Pharisees for the same.  It's so important that we don't allow ourselves to be ignorant of what is happening around us and throughout the World.

He said, 'When you see these things begin to happen look up for your redemption is drawing near.  As they begin to happen. We are there!
